The Memphis-Germantown Art League had our jurering for the Spring Exhibition today at the Memphis College of Art. Sammy Britt, a very accomplished artist from Cleveland, Mississippi was the juror, and we were very honored to have him do it. There were 87 paintings submitted by our members and 43 paintings were juried into the Exhibition. Several members got 2 paintings into the show, and I was the only member to have 3 paintings accepted. WOW! that is really exciting. They were: "Playful Wisdom," "Mustangs," and "In the Powder Room." What an honor!
The Exhibition will hang March 19th through April 10th at the Germantown Performing Arts Centre. Y'all come!
