Branson, Missouri has changed radically since we were here 5-6 years ago. This is a photo of the new Branson Landing area anchored by Bass Pro on one end and a major department store on the other. A trolley runs every 15 minutes up and down the length of cobble stone pedesterian way. New condomeniums shaddow the eastern end and provide an elevated view of Lake Taney Como and the city of Branson. My favorite shop was the Marble Slab Creamery where the 20 minute wait in line for sweet cream and strawberrys was worth it.
So what is the difference between Branson and Las Vegas? Someone said that you don't have to explain anything to your children in Branson.

We haven't been to Branson in years. Maybe the 4 of us can plan a trip together sometime, but separate bedrooms this time, and the wives will make the dinner reservations. =-)
